Finally found the ST1623 trimmer. Seems to still be going in and out of stock on ace hardwares site. Came via FedEx in about two days. It would be useful for you to post what you see and describe what happens when it does its thing. I have the trimmer with powerload and solid carbon shaft. The bumping is OK but gets tiresome.
